Story of this piece:
this artwork depicts the foundational story of the Karinya Ngukuthati Art Gallery. the eagle represents the totem of the wonnarua people, and the moth represents the totem of my business partner, symbolising the joining of our two cultures. the outer circles represent our communities gathered together, while the centre circle represents the gallery itself-a place of peace, shared wisdom, and a true "happy, peaceful meeting." this piece captures the spirit of collaboration between us that drives our gallery.
