The Story of This Piece
This artwork is a reflection of my personal connection to the land and waters that surround us. The outer
ring of circles, linked by paths, represents our community and the enduring strength of our connections to
one another. At the center lies our home, where the green and purple tones represent my wife and myself.
Surrounding the center, the U-shapes symbolise our children, our extended family, and our friends, those
who walk alongside us in life. This piece celebrates the harmony between the natural landscape and the
people who make it a place of belonging.
